San Diego: Mormon Battalion

On Sunday we went to the Mormon Battalion and it was so cool! Seriously GO! It is not what I expected at all. It is so well done.  I wish we had more time to look around Old Town, but we took naps that day so we were short on time. I guess we will just have to go back. 

 At the end you pan for gold. Such a cute little activity. They even let you keep two pieces to go home with. Grandpa Patterson shared his gold with all of us. Pretty sure he wanted to keep all of it, but he shared his wealth.
