Influenster Mary Kay Box

So I recently signed up on this cool website called Influenster where they send you some products (no sample sizes here) and you get to review them. Pretty cool huh! Well I got picked to sample some Mary Kay makeup. Awesome deal I know. It was pretty fun because whenever I buy makeup I tend to buy the same colors (blah blah blah) so my makeup almost always looks the same.

The Box had the following goodies:

Mary Kay® Bronzing Powder-  

-I am white, white. white (even living in Arizona) so this definitely helped achieve a more summer look. 

Mary Kay® Translucent Loose Powder 

-This is supposed to eliminate shine but I don't get very oily so i didn't really notice a difference.

Mary Kay® Mineral Cheek Color  

-This color was perfect for my coloring. Love it.

Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color in Apricot Twist 

-This stuff is awesome! It will be perfect for summer. It is a very natural creamy eye shadow. So you look very natural but with a little color. For my Sunday looked I added some more color on top to not look so bare.

Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush 

- Seriously I am a grown up with children and I still get zits. I mean come on! This brush might be my favorite thing I got. It was kinda like having an eraser for those pesky zits. 

Mary Kay® Lash Love® Mascara 

-So this mascara wasn't my fav. It took awhile on my upper lashes ( and who has time for that!)… but on my bottom lashes which i don't normally wear mascara on, it was awesome! The brush was perfect for lower lashes.

Mary Kay® Gel Eyeliner with Expandable Brush Applicator in Jet Black 

-I also don't usually wear eye liner and if I do I usually use an angle brush and eye shadow. I liked the brush. The eye liner is a little dark for my taste. Its fun to mix it up a little though and be a little more bold. But not something to use in a hurry. I learned that lesson this morning! ;)

Mary Kay® NouriShine Plus® Lip Gloss in Mango Tango

     - So this color is bold! And of course I love it! A bold lip is my go to. Perfect if you aren't really ready but you want to appear that you are ready. A bold lip fools everyone into thinking that your kids maybe gave you time to shower and get ready ;) The color is perfect for summer too! I might have to do a whole blog post about a bold lip… i feel that passionately about it! :)

Next time I better not decide to play around with makeup on Sunday. Of course we were late… But that is the only day I get ready. My bad.
