Cooks ‘13
Merry
Christmas to you all and a happy new year. We love each one of you and want you
to know we cherish you all in our lives. We have grown closer together this
year as a family in Christ and we feel very blessed as we make new friends and
love each other.
We have been very busy with the addition of another
beautiful child: Graham Fielding Cook, Born April 9th. He was
premature, but he came safe and sound. Not only is he the joy of the family but
also is the happiest baby either one of us has ever seen. We love him and can’t
wait for all of you to meet him!
Isla is having the time of her life as she is getting
more and more friends. It seems every other day she is either with her “Child
of God” friends (nursery) or her cousins. She loves her friends and is very
sweet and kind to them. She wants all of you to know that she loves her Mommy
very much. She has a beautiful and thoughtful heart. Almost every night daddy
plays to her “Song of a bird”
(I know my Heavenly
Father Loves me) and she tells him after each time, “Daddy- I love you.” It’s
some of the most precious moments of my life.
As for Aly and I we are more in love than ever. We
realize now that life is just not going to get any easier. After a scare with
Graham that made him come a little too early- a few complications after his
birth- and some other issues later in the year, we know that time is essential
with each other. Aly is the most precious thing in my life and I pledge my love
and devotion to her and to our God and King Jesus Christ.
This Christmas season we would like to wish you all a
joyous and happy holiday. We love our Lord and Savior and are trying to teach
our kids to pray and keep the commandments. We have been truly blessed in our
lives and we love you all so much.
