While we were in Utah for Christmas break we took Isla sledding for the first time. We just went over to the little Cascade hill for a little bit because she didn't have any snow pants. We do live in Arizona so snow gear is not something we buy. But thanks to Nana Rachel she got this super cute winter coat, hat and gloves. If you can't tell by the pictures how she felt about sledding, well....
SHE LOVED IT!
She would walk up the hill all by herself, and the second you were down it was "AGAIN, AGAIN!"
We even worked on her counting, and got her to say "1,2,3 GO!" or "ready set GO!" Which for Isla is pretty good because she normally just likes to count "1,2,1,2...." She would have stayed out there all day if we let her.
All bundled up and ready to go out.
Look at that smile! It makes me sad that we don't live by snow.
Turns out I am not very good at sledding. I could not control the sled. We would spin around in a circle every time!
This year was sledding, maybe next year it will be skiing. Who knows?! They grow up so fast!
