put on a happy face

Is my current motto... I was recently diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia, and I haven't been the most fun person to be around. So my goal is to be fun no matter what. I am going to always have a good attitude, & not the, and I quote "why me" attitude that I have had at times. If life gives me lemons, I am going to make lemonaid, & then sell it for a buck a glass :)

I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis - I got mine a number of months ago.

TN isn't fun, but it can be manageable. There are a ton of support and resources avaiable to you. Feel free to ping me if you'd like any details.

I wish you all the best.

Yours is one of the happiest, prettiest faces I know...

Hang in there with my prayers at your back!!
Hi Aly,

I strongly encourage you to reach out to the community of livingwithtn.org. There are some incredible people and support there, with sound advice and positive outlooks. For me at the beginings of this, it helps to have a place to get information and perspective. Many there have things much worse than I.

You're also welcome to ping me anytime. Between the communities, my reading, and my trip to Mayo, I have some background. I blog about it as my conditions change, so you can follow things there as well.

I know it can be scary, but arm yourself with information, good medical support, and love from family and friends. We'll get through it.
